Delhi: Relief news for Delhiites, auto-taxi union called off strike, there will be no problem on the roads from tomorrow

All auto taxis will run normally from tomorrow.

Meanwhile, it was also announced by the Delhi government to constitute a committee to consider revising the fare in a time bound manner. Despite this, the strike on behalf of the unions of auto taxi and cab drivers was not postponed. Today people had to face a lot of trouble due to the strike. Especially women, elderly and children have to suffer a lot.

Delhi Auto Rickshaw Association general secretary Rajendra Soni said that the auto-taxi organizations have postponed the strike on April 19. Soni said that in view of the problem of common people at railway stations, bus stands, the strike has been postponed. He called today’s strike a success and also said that the Delhi government is forming a committee. But we need solutions to our problems which are not visible. Our demand is that the government (Centre and Delhi) should provide subsidy of Rs 35 per kg on the prices of CNG.
