New Delhi. Ducati is going to launch the Multistrada V2 in the Indian market. The sale of the new adventure bike will start in the country from April 25. The company has announced this on its social media. The bike was first launched in the global market in October 2021. The new bike will replace the Multistrada 950.
Talking about the engine of the new Multistrada V2, the 937cc Testastretta engine has been used in it as before. This engine can generate power of 111.5bhp and peak torque of 96Nm. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox, which is similar to the existing Multistrada 950 motorcycle. Apart from an updated powertrain, the bike has been made lighter than before. The new Multistrada 950 weighs 5 kg less.
The bike will come in two variants
The company sells the Multistrada V2 in two variants Standard and Multistrada S in the international market. Both these variants are expected to hit the Indian market, however, it has not been officially confirmed yet. The new Multistrada V2 gets some very high-end rider aids and features including ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Vehicle Hold Control and four riding modes Sport, Touring, Urban and Enduro.

Talking about the price of Multistrada V2, its price internationally starts from around Rs 11.35 lakh. And the price of the variant starts from Rs 13.28 lakhs, however, its price in India is expected to be more than 16 lakhs. When launched, this bike will take on models like the new BMW F900 XR and Triumph Tiger 900 in the country.
