ENG vs NZ 2nd Test: 23 fours 4 sixes… Darrell Mitchell fires with the bat, equals ‘King’ Kohli’s record


The second match of the three-Test series is being played between England and New Zealand in Nottingham. New Zealand’s 481 for five against England
Apart from Mitchell, wicketkeeper Tom Blundell also played a century of 108 runs for New Zealand. In his innings, Blendal faced 198 balls and hit 14 fours. This was also his third century in Test cricket.

Strong start from hosts England

In response to New Zealand’s 553 runs in the first innings, by the end of the second day, England had scored 90 runs for the loss of 1 wicket. On the second day, the only batsman to be dismissed for the team was Jack Crowley, who contributed just 4 runs. After this, Alex Hales (34) and Ollie Pope (51) batted carefully, due to which England did not allow any wicket to fall till the declaration of stumps. In this way, New Zealand’s team is currently 463 runs ahead of England on the basis of first innings.
