Sanjay Bangar: Sanjay Bangar admired this ‘Versatile’ Indian player, talked about giving a chance at number-4

New Delhi: Former all-rounder coach Sanjay Banger was the batting coach of the Indian team till the 2019 World Cup. After the Indian team, Bangar joined the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. He has talked about the star player of the Indian team, Hardik Pandya. Bangar considers Hardik a versatile player. Hardik, who has been out of the Indian team since the T20 World Cup, has returned for the South Africa T20 series.

Can give chance at number-4
Sanjay Bangar has suggested that Hardik Pandya may get a chance to play at number-4 for the Indian team. Speaking on Star Sports show ‘Follow the Blues’, he said, “He is a very versatile player who has done a great job on the foundation of his game. You can play it at No. 4 and No. 6 as well. Whenever I used to talk to Hardik, he always used to say that he wants to lay a good foundation, he always paid a lot of attention to it. When your game is settled, you can adapt your game to suit every situation.’

Partnerships formed with Dhoni
Regarding Hardik Pandya, Sanjay Bangar said that he has formed partnerships from Mahendra Singh Dhoni to the lower order batsmen. Bangar said, “He (Hardik) is a player who has played the role of a finisher for the Indian team for a very long time. He has shared experience with MS Dhoni and forged partnerships with him as well as with other lower order batsmen. So I think he is a versatile player.

Amazing in IPL 2022
Hardik Pandya batted at number 3 and 4 in IPL 2022 for Gujarat Titans. In 15 matches, Hardik’s bat scored 487 runs at an average of 44 and a strike rate of 131. He remained at number four in the list of highest run-scorers.
