Pakistan’s great Wasim Akram once again proved that he is the real Sultan of swing. During a charity match dedicated to the late Australian cricketer Shane Warne, he clean bowled former England cricketer Michael Atherton with his amazing yorker. Apart from Akram, West Indies great Brian Lara, former England women’s captain Charlotte Edwards, Ian Bell, Monty Panesar, Michael Atherton, Neil Johnson, commentator Mark Nicholls and Rajasthan Royals co-owner Manoj Badale also took part in the event. Two-time World Cup winning captain Clive Lloyd took the responsibility of umpiring.
During the competition, Akram smashed Atherton’s stumps with a classic inswinging yorker. A video of this was shared by the Cricket District on Twitter and the former Pakistan international also could not stop himself from reacting.

Both played against each other for their national team during the 1990s. He has also shared the dressing room while playing for the English county team Lancashire.
